Instructors
Michèle Marie Paré
Michèle has been teaching ballroom dance for nearly a decade. She was previously an instructor for Arthur Murray in Syracuse & Latham NY and also at the Fred Astaire studio in Latham NY teaching social, competitive & exhibition ballroom dance. About 5 years ago, she decided to go out on her own and open up a dance studio that would focus only on social ballroom dancing for adults.
"I found that the large majority of students walking in the door simply wanted to look stylish and confident when dancing at a wedding reception, a vacation cruise, a holiday event, or just a night out for dinner & dancing! So, I decided to cater to that and have had amazing results. So often, people are afraid of getting on a dance floor. My job is to combat that fear. I truly enjoy instilling confidence, poise & fun in people's lives. I've also found that for married couples it is a hobby that allows them to reconnect with each other romantically. I mean, what woman doesn't want her husband to sweep, spin and dip her on the dance floor? I get to be a part of that and it's truly an honor to help bring that spark back into their relationship. I love what I do!"
Michèle also runs the Albany Ballroom Dance Studio as same sex friendly (Gay/Lesbian/Bi/Transgendered). Sexual orientation, age, or lack of dance experience are not discriminated against. All are welcome!
Let Michèle guide you on your path to becoming the dancer you've always wanted to be!
